The Public Programs Event Staff serve a critical role in the department on event days. A blend of box office and front of house positions, Event Staff offer the highest level of customer service possible to all patrons. Event Staff serve as the box office team for events: scanning tickets, manning will call, managing patron lines, and creating a welcoming environment for patrons. Staff also assist with routine setup and breakdown of events.
Event Staff are hourly employees, and are only scheduled to work on days when there are events. Shifts are in the late afternoon to evening and are typically three hours long. Event Staff are assigned to shifts on a first come, first served basis. All Event Staff are required to work a minimum of three shifts per season.
