  • Overview

    The HRIS Analyst/People Analytics role provides strategic support of all HRIS systems to promote efficiency and data integrity.  This role partners with all functional areas of HR as well as IT and Finance, as needed, to provide innovative solutions. The Analyst supports the Human Resource leadership team to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence positive changes to the operations, process or programs that aid the vision of the organization.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Partners with various HR functional teams to optimize design and configuration of the Workday HCM system to ensure efficiency, consistency and accuracy of Human Resources data and processes
    • Responds to requests for reports containing HR data from across and outside of the organization in an accurate and timely manner and uses discretion and understanding of sensitive data to determine when and how it is appropriate to share that data
    • Extract, analyze and present data findings and standard management reporting on regular basis, including people metrics and dashboards utilized for strategic planning and decision-making
    • Project-manages a variety of Workday- related initiatives through all phases of implementation:  identification of requirements, design, testing and implementation
    • Works with functional areas to develop and implement changes to security in Workday for new and existing processes, reports, and domains
    • Prepares and maintains Workday documentation
    • Participates in the development of technology training curricula for users, as needed
    • Coordinates Workday updates and testing
    • Regularly reviews Workday Community and What’s New reports to identify potential new functionality to be implemented or changes to existing functionality that may benefit the team.  Works with Associate Director, HRIS and functional teams to prioritize these initiatives
    • Serves as a first line resource to troubleshoot issues with Workday processes, integrations, notifications, security, etc
    • Supports the applicant tracking and learning management systems

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 4 years of relevant technology work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Prior experience with Workday HRIS and reporting using Workday modules required
    • Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring and supporting HRIS/HRMS applications
    • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
    • Understands shifting priorities, is comfortable navigating through ambiguous situations, and can juggle multiple and varied projects simultaneously
    • Technical innovation and acumen to implement new processes
    • Discretion and judgment concerning confidential information
    • Critical thinking and analytical abilities
    • Strong consultative skills
    • Strong (intermediate to advanced) Microsoft Excel skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Data analytics experience
    • Familiarity with Workday Studio and BIRT
